Magic of Lilac

In the middle of the 16th centruy, lilac was brought by the German emperor, Augerius von Busberg from Turkish Constantinople to Vienna, to the court gardens there. This almost magically fragrant bush immediately caught people’s attention and gained popularity, spreading to the rest of Europe.
